Cute little Tangles

Morning all. What a beautiful start to the day! Sun is shining n the birds are singing. Lets hope it stays like this.
This morning I'd like to share my latest card which I made using tangles instead of colouring my image in. I've only just started doing zentangle so the patterns are pretty basic but I really enjoyed doing it.

The image is from Lily of the valley and I love it - soooo cute! I left the rest of the card pretty plain so as not to detract from the image although I did use embossed pearlised paper from Debbi Moore to add some texture.

I really enjoyed doing this - it's soooo relaxing and even if it's not true zentangle I like it lol.

Gorjus

Morning all. What a lovely sunny start to the day - hope its gonna be as nice as yesterday. Had a lovely day at the beach yesterday with one of my daughters n it was fab - hot n sunny n not too packed. Today I'm spending time with my other 2 daughters and my grandson with a visit to my mam thrown in !. Looking forward to it !
 I thought I'd share a card I recently made for a friends birthday using the FAB Gorjus stamps.

I wanted to keep this card pretty 'clean' looking - not too fussy so for the background I used a fairly plain piece of patterned paper from my stash with just a small flowered corner on the design.

 

A closer look at my gorjus girl image which I coloured with flexmarkers and promarkers.
I added touches of glitter and the sentiments to finish. The ticket sentiment is from papermania and was originally a background stamp but I cut it up into individual stamps - more for your money lol.

Twenty one !

Morning all. Before I begin my post I'd like to say hello and welcome to all me new followers  and hello to all my older followers! I really appreciate all the lovely comments and feedback you leave for me.
 My eldest daughter has just turned 21 -- where does the time go? As she LOVES PIGS I decided to make her a birthday card with pigs on. The challenge over at I<3 promarkers this week is 'anything goes so I'm entering my card in that challenge.

I drew the '21' freehand and transferred it to an 8x8 card blank. which I covered with patterned papers. The images are a digistamp from Saturated Canary called Hailey n Harley which were coloured with promarkers and flexmarkers.

I decorated the edges of the numbers to add definition and added Sian's name with diecut letters and touches of glitter to finish. Hope you like it n don't forget you could make any number you wish for birthdays or anniversarys.

I'm Back!

Sorry I haven't blogged for such a long time but I've been a bit under the weather n family things took over for a while. This morning while I was nosing on face book I came across the Indigo blu challenge but time was fast running out so I got straight up and made a quick card to enter. The theme was BLUE and this is what I came up with.
I used the Indigo blu nature 1 stamp set which I love and use all the time. I cut strips of patterned black n white paper and coloured it with distress inks. All the stamping was from the set except the bottom sentiment which was from Lili of the valley and a fab birthday gift from my great crafty buddy Sue aka Lou! so thanx for that Sue........love it!

Lovely in Lilac

As some of you will know I've recently got into colouring the FAB Saturated Canary images and have become quite addicted! lol. My latest card using these digis is for a challenge at http://ilovepromarkers.blogspot.co.uk/ where this weeks prize is......... 2 digis from SATURATED CANARY !!! woooooohooooo

The image is Jules, coloured with my promarkers and I used papermania paper and sentiment tag and  Debbi Moore ribbon. A touch of stickles to her petticoats finished it all off!!

Just for you

Wooohooo I'm off out tonite ............for the first time in months and I'm soooooo excited!! I didn't get chance to celebrate my big five 'o' birthday last month so nows the opportunity but it's mainly to celebrate my mate's birthday!
I've been really busy lately so needed a card that didn't take tooooo long to make so I decided to use my serif craft artist and a FAB digistamp from Saturated Canary!

I did most of the card on the software but as I love colouring these images sooooo much I coloured it by hand using my promarkers. The pic hasn't showed up so well but the panel behind Ava is delicately patterned!

A few dabs(!!!!!) of stickles on the butterflies and thats it finished!!! I'm pleased with the result as it gives me the best of both worlds - quick and easy but also a chance to do my fave colouring!. Thanx for stopping by. Hugz xxxxxxx
